Dr. Ali Nabavi, CEO of the National Development Group and Dr. Arsalan Kazempour, CEO of Behshahr Industries Development Company, visited Zarrin Zart Shahrood Company and, while reviewing the current status of the company, emphasized the need to develop production lines.
Dr. Ali Nabavi, CEO of the National Development Group and Dr. Arsalan Kazempour, CEO of Behshahr Industries Development Company, along with a delegation including Mohammadi, member of the board of directors, Mohseni, deputy director of strategic development and investment, Shidai, deputy director of companies and associations of the National Development Group and chairman of the board of directors of Webshahr, Nazani, deputy director of finance and human capital of the National Development Group and member of the board of directors of Webshahr, Farhadi, deputy director of planning and development of Webshahr, and a group of managers of the two companies visited different parts of the Zarrin Zart Shahrood Company factory.
During this visit, various parts of the factory were visited, including the wastewater treatment section, gluten 3 production line, starch and glucose production line, corn storage silo section, quality control laboratory, and raw material warehouse, and Dr. Ali Nabavi and Dr. Arsalan Kazempour talked to the company’s personnel. During these talks, issues such as challenges in sourcing raw materials, the need to update equipment, and the need to increase production capacity were discussed.
Dr. Ali Nabavi said: Shahroud Zarrin Zart is one of the key units in supplying processed corn products, and its activities should be expanded.
Dr. Arsalan Kazempour also emphasized the importance of increasing productivity and stated: Developing production lines and moving towards producing high value-added products can increase the competitiveness of this unit in domestic markets and gain more market share. Also, strengthening cooperation with research centers and preventing raw material sales are essential to optimize processes.
Akhtari, CEO of Zarrin Zart, also presented a report on the company’s performance and said: “The 5-year strategic plan of Zarrin Zart Shahrood Company is to achieve a 10 percent market share of its products.” He stated that this year we have broken the company’s 13-year production record and added: “In the 10 months of the fiscal year, we managed to earn 286 billion tomans in profit.”
