The secretary of the Iran Maintenance and Repair Association, pointing out that the implementation of the performance evaluation system helps the continuous progress of economic enterprises; He said: In order to prevent the shortage of specialized human resources in the future, synergy, knowledge enhancement and skill enhancement of human resources should be on the agenda.

According to the communication and information management report, Navid Nasr, secretary and member of the board of directors of the Iran Maintenance and Repair Association, emphasized in the ceremony of the first internal award for excellence and progress held at Behshahr Industries Development Company, in today’s economic situation, senior managers of industries with challenges are facing different The first challenge is that the financial program in industries is closed based on the amount of production. The second challenge is the issue of competitiveness, and competitors are looking for more market share.

Referring to the third challenge of the senior managers of the industries, he said: Today we are forced to move towards the production of green waste in the detergent and edible oil industries. The next category is the maintenance concern. The life of production lines is more than 30 years. Two points should be paid attention to in this context. First, costs should be optimized, and secondly, we should reach an optimal production plan.

The secretary of Iran’s maintenance and repair association pointed out that the concern of energy and supply of sustainable resources are two other challenges of our production-oriented industries, and said: If we are demanding in the industries and implement the performance evaluation system, the industry will definitely move forward. Optimum evaluation indicators should be designed for demanding.

Pointing out that we need re-engineering and redesigning of organizations in order to make them agile, he said: Today, in order to make an accurate and timely decision, we must have an accurate observation of the market and available resources, and in fact, the integration of information sources.

Nasr continued, maintenance in the organization creates added value that leads to increased productivity.

This senior expert in the field of production; Stating that maintenance and repair teams in industries usually cannot crystallize the real value of maintenance, he said: Unfortunately, indicators such as the cost of lost production due to reduced productivity and stoppage of operations are not seen in the financial statements.

According to this industrial field expert, in Europe eight percent of fixed capital is used for maintenance and in Japan four to 6 percent of fixed capital is spent on maintenance and renovation of devices and infrastructure.

Referring to the establishment of the physical asset management system, he said: In this regard, on the one hand, performance teams should be at an optimal level, and on the other hand, attention should be paid to the improvement of energy consumption.

The secretary of the Iran Repair and Maintenance Association, pointing out that most of the employees in the second decade of their activity are in Behshahr Holding’s sub-complexes, said: Therefore, in order to prevent the void of specialized human resources in the following years, synergy, knowledge enhancement and skill enhancement of the workforce must be done. A human being is on the agenda. On the other hand, demanding and the process of performance evaluation should be done continuously so that the appropriate incentive system is established accordingly.

Referring to the requirement to preserve existing assets, he said: In this regard, we must use equipment condition monitoring systems. Determining the assignment of assets, equipment and spare parts in Behshahr leads to optimization of warehouse inventory and liquidity provision.

In conclusion, Nasr said: We need to establish a knowledge management structure in the organization, so we must use the knowledge that exists in the collection in the most ideal way possible.
